So, a couple of days ago, a nice woman affiliated with TOPP (Tagging of Pacific Pelagics) which is affiliated with the Monterey Bay Aquarium contacted me about using some of my shark pics in one of their stories! How exciting! She got my name from a shark researcher I met on the last shark trip I went on.

You’ll have to read the story, but they are thinking a pinniped (seal/sea lion) might have taken the satellite tag out of the shark, and my pictures of the White Shark and Sea Lion show how that might have happened.

At any rate, I thought it was pretty neat. Makes me want to go back and take more pictures! Check it out: Missing Shark Tag Turns up in Tidepool.

Ok, so it’s been a while!

I know I’ve been horrible at blogging lately. My life got really busy, what can I say.
At any rate, gonna do my best to bring ya’ll up to speed as quickly as possible…

Beginning with: Mindy is an enormous 42lbs! Can you believe that? She’s a real h00t!
Potty training seems to be basically over /knocks-on-wood
She’ll finally mostly just sleep under my desk during the day while I work… which is such a treat. It’s amazing to me, how much company she is. But then, I’m sure you all new that already.

Currently we are taking two classes, Beginning Agility, and Puppy Obedience. Alot of the stuff in obedience she really already knows, but it’s still fun to go play with other puppies, and to learn all the ways I’m teaching her wrong. Agility is fun too, but she gets really excited which is tough to manage.

Her list of tricks right now is: sit, down, stay (kind of), heal, side (but not as good as heal), shake (both paws), gimme 5, gimme 10, take-a-nap, go-potty, and move-over. Stay tuned! She learns fast!
