Today Mindy and I went to Balboa park for the first time. Yesterday, we went to the vet again, for her second round of shots and stuff. Mindy is now 19lbs! It really is amazing how fast they grow… it’s almost like if I watch hard enough I can see it happen right before my eyes.
Anyway, the Vet said she was comfortable with Mindy pretty much going anywhere now, so now I have some serious socialization to do with her. We started off by going to take some pictures of the roses in the Balboa Park Rose garden. Pretty fun stuff, it is fun to take her out to meet people.
I was dying when her reaction to the rose garden was to leave a big steamer right in the middle of the sidewalk. I turned around to take a picture, and I’m thinking, “man for a rose garden, it sure does smell shitty here.” Turn around and voila! So funny…!
But anyway, it was great fun… and she met a bunch of new people. I’m on a mission to find a horse for her to meet… I’m dying to get a picture of her nose to nose with a horse.
